Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Lacombe Inn and Suites. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of food service operations.
Supervise and Coordinate Food Service StaffLead and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service and quality.
Train and Develop StaffProvide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Inventory Management and Quality ControlEstimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality control standards.
Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and submit accurate reports to management, providing valuable insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Quality Assurance and ControlConduct regular quality checks to ensure that food and service meet our high standards, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Work Schedule and StaffingEstablish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the demands of our food and beverage operations.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent position
