About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Moulding Technician to join our team at E. Hofmann Plastics, Inc. as a Plastic Mould Setter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet our high standards.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and change moulds and adjust equipment for production line changes to minimize downtime.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure a smooth production process.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to distinguish between colours to ensure accurate quality control.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform tasks with precision.
  • Handling heavy loads as part of the job requirements.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Standing for extended periods to meet the demands of the role.
