Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Gold Star Wholesale Furniture Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support warehouse operations
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support warehouse operations
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.

Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or operations role. You should have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and be able to coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
