Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of department Lead Hands
  • Facilitate coordination among various departments to achieve unified production goals
  • Accountable for the overall efficiency and quality throughout the product manufacturing cycle
  • Provide reports on maintenance and calibration needs of equipment
  • Lead a team of ERP Specialists, including Purchasers and Schedulers
  • Demonstrated experience in a build-to-order manufacturing environment
  • Support the new product development process from prototype through to full-scale production
  • Engage in supply chain management strategies
  • Ensure adherence to established quality benchmarks
  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations
  • Guide and participate in problem-solving initiatives and risk assessments
  • Plan for equipment utilization and expansion
  • Optimize staffing and team performance
  • Conduct process audits and monitor KPIs

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, structuring, and leading assembly operations, managing all facets of assembly teams, processes, and manufacturing areas within the relevant departments. The successful Manufacturing Operations Manager will possess extensive experience in managing within a discrete manufacturing setting.

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Discrete Manufacturing, encompassing part production and/or final product assembly
  • Proficient in managing workflow scheduling within an ERP framework
  • Experience in overseeing a team of over fifty (50) employees
