Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at King George Furniture Liquidation Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Procedure Development

Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs to ensure the optimal functioning of our warehouse and equipment.

Maintenance and Repair Oversight

Direct the maintenance and repair of our warehouse's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Staff Supervision and Training

Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Facilities Management

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Operations Budget Management

Plan and manage the facility's operations budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

Administrative Services

Plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a team of professionals who share your passion for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse operations or facilities management role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
