Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at GreenGold Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, planning and organizing daily operations, and preparing construction project budget estimates. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and budgeting
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
  • Select trade subcontractors and oversee their activities
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings
  • Plan and manage budgets, including direct purchases of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs and risk management plans
  • Oversee data analysis and prepare reports
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, Mac OS, SharePoint, and SketchUp
