Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our Commercial Insurance Pricing team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and developing actuarial models to support commercial insurance pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models to analyze and predict commercial insurance pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights to inform commercial insurance pricing decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate actuarial concepts and recommendations to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop and maintain reports and presentations to support commercial insurance pricing decisions.
Requirements
  • University degree in a quantitative field, such as Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Completion of a minimum of 3 CAS/SOA exams.
  • 1-2 years of P&C actuarial experience, with a focus on commercial insurance pricing.
  • Strong programming skills, including SAS, Python, R, or Excel VBA.
  • Strong Excel skills and efficient use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.
