Job Summary

Dynacare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to lead the Histology Department. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality results, and fostering a culture of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage laboratory operations, including workflow, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve laboratory processes and efficiency
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer needs are met
  • Develop and implement business plans, goals, and schedules for the department
  • Monitor and analyze departmental reports and statistics to inform decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the department remains competitive

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in a laboratory setting
  • Proven track record of leading and engaging diverse teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in planning, preparing, and devising work schedules
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management principles
