Telecommunications Equipment Installer

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Equipment Installer to join our team at Augmented Networks Inc. as a Switch Network Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment, including electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain telecommunications equipment, including trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centers.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment, including cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Inspect the operation of telecommunications equipment, analyze test results, and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete and maintain test and service reports, and determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including trunking systems, and ability to work with electromechanical, analog, and digital equipment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines, and to perform physical tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
