Job Title: Greenhouse Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at BEECH NURSERY GROUP INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our greenhouse and outdoor gardens. This includes applying fertilizers, watering and tending to plants, and performing various horticultural tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers and other plant care products as required
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Cut grass and maintain lawn appearance
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
