About the Bursary

Lifemark Health Group is committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals through our Student Bursary program. We are proud to offer financial assistance to students pursuing post-secondary education in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.

What We Offer

Our bursary program provides two award options:

  • $10,000 bursary with a 2-year post-graduation commitment
  • $15,000 bursary with a 3-year post-graduation commitment

Both awards are paid in one lump sum to the recipient within 30 days of being awarded.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be full-time students in good academic standing
  • Be currently attending an Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Masters program at a Canadian regulated institution or an international program recognized by the regulatory college in the province they plan to practice
  • Be enrolled in their 1st year or first half of their 2nd year of a Masters PT or OT program
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada post-graduation
  • Be prepared to commit to working with Lifemark Health Group for 2 or 3 years following graduation

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  • A curriculum vitae
  • A cover letter that includes an introduction, reasons for applying, and examples of community involvement
  • At least 1 letter of reference from a community or educational member
  • Proof of enrollment in their program (OT/PT)
  • A list of their top 3 locations they wish to be employed in by Lifemark Health Group

Selection Process

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited to an introductory interview with a Lifemark Campus Recruiter.
