Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for performing precision welding tasks on a variety of metal alloys, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify welding plans and designs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots and a welding helmet as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Client-focused and organized, with a strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and adapt to changing priorities.
