Job Title: Support Worker - Community Living

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Society for Community Living. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Encourage physical activities, such as going for walks, yoga, and dance
  • Support the individual in staying connected with friends and family through Zoom, phone calls, and visits
  • Assist with crafts and other leisure activities
Requirements:
  • Ability to motivate and engage the interests of others
  • Computer proficiency, including email, Word, and internet usage
  • Sign Language is an asset, and training is provided
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a community setting, supporting an individual in their home. The role requires a flexible schedule, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
