About the Job

Aacha jee Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport hazardous materials.
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • AZ class license.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
