About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist I to join our team at CAE Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for hardware issues related to I/O and Power systems
  • Collaborate with external sales representatives, customer service engineers/technicians, and Global Engineering to resolve technical challenges
  • Expedite and deploy technical solutions to customers on simulator
  • Provide training to customers on simulator systems
  • Filter global hardware issues for potential in-field clearance activities
Requirements
  • DEC in electrotechnology or aviation with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience
  • Ability to diagnose a failure and use electronic testing equipment and advanced software diagnostic utilities
  • Good working knowledge of control systems, electronics, and PLCs
  • Excellent management of priorities and multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate and make yourself understood (verbally and in writing)
