**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day management of workload, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders, maintaining accurate and timely processing.
  • Work independently on labeling and filling/refilling prescriptions, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Perform an independent double check for repeat prescription release, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Verify that customers receive correct prescription(s), providing exceptional customer service.
  • Identify potential therapeutic issues and seek the Pharmacist's therapeutic check, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs in fulfilling pharmacy responsibilities, maintaining strong relationships and communication.
  • Prepare/review and process billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist patients who are picking up prescriptions, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Enter prescriptions into the computer, retrieve, and/or correct data in computer, maintaining accurate records.
  • Screen calls and gather relevant information for the Pharmacist, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Order, maintain, and prepare inventory of medications, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Review invoices or other documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Pack and ship prescription orders, maintaining efficient and effective operations.
  • Receive and maintain accurate inventory, ensuring stock levels and availability.
  • Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and, where applicable, internal and contractual obligations.
  • The Pharmacy Technician is required to renew their SCP Registration on an annual basis, and to participate in the Quality Assurance Process on a regular basis, as part of their continuing education.
  • The Pharmacy Technician will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
  • May be required to be on standby/on call as part of this role.

**Requirements**

  • Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or successful completion of Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists Bridging Program and a Certificate of Registration with SCP.
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Kroll required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and drug distribution practices.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective organizational skills; attention to detail.
