Backend Engineer

At Dapper Labs, we're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our blockchain-based digital collectibles platforms. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs, ensuring the scalability and security of our systems, and collaborating closely with frontend teams and other technical units to design cohesive and integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Optimize system performance and reliability, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Develop server-side logic to integrate with blockchain technologies and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cohesive solutions.
  • Ensure the highest level of performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
Requirements:
  • Experience in backend development, with a strong grasp of server-side languages such as GoLang or NodeJS.
  • Proficient in managing server environments and understanding core principles of scalable architecture.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and dynamic team collaboration.
  • Passionate about blockchain technology and its applications in gaming and digital collectibles.

  • Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based server environments.
  • Strong experience with databases and server-side integration with various database technologies.
