About the Role

GSP Custom Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Exterior Cladder to join our team. As an Exterior Cladder, you will be responsible for ensuring the exterior of our homes is clad with high-quality materials, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Layout and Installation: Determine the most effective layout and installation procedures for exterior cladding, taking into account factors such as weather conditions and site constraints.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and readily available.
  • Truck Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Scaffolding and Platforms: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring stability and safety.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, understanding the requirements for exterior cladding.Physical Demands
    • Weight Handling: Lift and move materials weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), as required.
    • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
    • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
    • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
