Position Overview:

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is seeking a proficient and certified X-Ray, BMD, and Mammography Technologist responsible for executing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, Mammography, and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, Mammography, and BMD examinations.
  • Uphold company standards regarding work quality, confidentiality, and turnaround times; provide training or assistance to fellow technologists as needed.
  • Ensure patient comfort and confidence in the professionalism of the facility and its staff, performing duties under the supervision of the clinic leader.
  • Prepare informative reports, address technical inquiries, and engage in necessary problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with company procedures and standards, including examination documentation, booking systems, and equipment used across different locations.
  • Commit to personal development through relevant training and skill enhancement.
  • Be adaptable to perform additional responsibilities and work various shifts as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Current registration with CAMRT or a provincial equivalent certification/license.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience with C-arm procedures is considered an asset.
  • Engage in staff meetings to maintain professional competence.
  • Evaluate personal performance and set objectives; participate in annual performance reviews.
  • Show a commitment to ongoing education and training.
  • Exhibit effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
