Position Overview

The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE. This position is essential for ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean all furniture to enhance guest comfort.
  • Carpet Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets to ensure a fresh sleeping experience.
  • Towel and Toiletry Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Linen Management: Stock the linen closet with necessary supplies.
  • Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure hygiene.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items efficiently.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Facility Information: Provide basic information about hotel facilities to guests.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a pleasant environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns promptly.
