About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Ironwood Auto Service Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment and motor vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with daily tasks and projects
  • Move and store equipment, tools, and materials in a safe and organized manner
  • Clean and maintain work areas, including machines and equipment
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors and senior technicians
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or repair environment (will train)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
