Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Clerk to join our team at Wenkai Garden Fresh. As a Grocery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and keeping the stockroom tidy.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management by counting and verifying stock levels, reporting any discrepancies, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
