Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at DSW Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement financial analysis and planning processes to inform business decisions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills and Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a financial role.
    • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and Quick Books.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
