About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camp Operations Manager to join our team at NRB Modular Solutions. As a Camp Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our remote lodge, ensuring that all aspects of the camp run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the camp, including supervising staff and ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Uphold camp and workplace health and safety standards, ensuring that all staff and guests are safe and secure.
  • Meet with clients and provide quality customer service, addressing their special requests and concerns in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Supervise, train, and manage staff performance issues, ensuring that all staff are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and daily and weekly meetings, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Inspect, evaluate, and ensure the camp cleanliness, food quality, and presentation, controlling inventory to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, providing detailed information on camp operations and performance.
  • Maintain project budget, tracking occupancy, staffing, and monitoring expenses, ensuring that the camp is operating within budget.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including liaising with clients, managing room bookings, and preparing reports.
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems, ensuring that the camp is always in good working order.

Requirements

  • Camp, hotel, or restaurant management experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations is an asset.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Advanced Food Safety certification and First Aid certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
