About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Automotive Journeyman Technician to join our team at Infiniti Gallery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform new vehicle Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.
  • Report all mechanical or safety-related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
  • Refers to images and/or videos provided by the customer or service advisor to assist in identifying repairs needed.
  • Perform road tests to identify issues and subsequently confirms repairs are completed to a satisfactory level.
  • Provide service advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates through utilizing our dealership software.
  • Accurately record the cause and correction of the issue in our dealership software on customer repair orders.
  • Complete the Technician portion and related inspection forms.
  • Maintain and follow manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual who possesses:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade certification.
  • Experience with Import, European or Luxury vehicles is an asset.
  • A valid Driver's license and provide a Driver's Abstract.
  • The ability to carefully and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools and equipment.
  • A growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Tool Allowance - All Licenced Technicians, Working Shop Foreman, and 3rd/4th year Apprentices receive $1,000 every year.
  • Boot Allowance - All Licenced Technicians, Working Shop Foreman, and 3rd/4th year Apprentices receive up to $300 every two years.
  • Signing Bonus - Licensed Technician candidates that are successfully hired will receive a signing bonus of up to $5,000.
  • Continuous training opportunities as we support and encourage ongoing factory training. Business travel expenses for training purposes are paid for by the company.
