Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Shanghai-sk Electric Canada inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical power equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power equipment and systems
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Conduct safety training programs and assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications and collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
