Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a skilled Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at 1825055 Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their meat purchases, maintaining a clean and organized meat department, and ensuring that all products are properly displayed and priced.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with their meat purchases, including answering questions and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment
- Ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced, including labeling and rotating stock
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity and quality standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
The Meat Counter Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent customer interactions and a high volume of transactions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
