Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CCUS Project Controls Analyst to lead and coordinate all project control functions for our new carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) solution project at our Edmonton plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, budgeting, contracts management, and risk management, as well as project document control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project control functions, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Maintain project document control system and project filing.
  • Coordinate and contribute to reporting processes for weekly meetings, management meetings, and steering committee meetings.
  • Lead and coordinate schedule updates and revisions.
  • Maintain project risk and uncertainty analyses and contribute to recovery plans when required.
  • Participate in project audits and group review processes to support project execution.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in project controls with deep scheduling or estimating experience.
  • 5+ years managing a project controls team preferred.
  • Four-year university degree in a related field preferred.
  • Working experience with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or other large contract execution models.
  • Strong estimating and scheduling skills.
  • Advanced understanding of software for cost and schedule control.
  • Ability to manage through others, both internal and external to the project.
