Job Title: ERP and Database Systems Administrator

At OSCO Group Services Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP and Database Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our JD Edwards ERP system, as well as our SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage existing JD Edwards ERP system, including building and deploying new packages, installing ESUs, system upgrades, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and supporting end users.
  • Maintain, manage, and deploy SQL Server databases across our environment, including performance monitoring, security management, backups, and more.
  • Create and maintain existing systems documentation to ensure seamless operations and knowledge sharing.
  • Build and/or support integrations between database systems and application systems to enhance our IT infrastructure.
  • Act in a Tier 3 Support Role for ERP and SQL Systems, handling escalated incidents and service requests while providing guidance to our Tier 2 support team.
  • Responsible for testing and ensuring business continuity of database systems in a DR scenario.
  • Participate in projects focused on continuous improvement and assist the IT department in achieving its larger goals.
Requirements:
  • Two-year technical diploma in Information Technology/Electrical Engineering Technology or bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in server administration, database platforms, virtualization, and cloud-based technology.
  • Project Management experience or certifications considered an asset.
  • ITIL, ISC2, and Microsoft SQL related certifications considered an asset.
