At Spark Lifecare, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of caregivers. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients in a community setting
  • Assess and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with independently as well as part of a rehabilitation team
  • Ability to work with different personality types
  • Computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
  • Experience working within the MVA (motor vehicle accident) system
  • Experience providing OT assessment and treatment in a community setting
  • Bilingualism, preferred
