Job Title: Mason - Concrete Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mason - Concrete Specialist to join our team at BS-1 Masonry Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, including filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
