Electrical Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Service Technician to join our team at Pack-Smart Inc. Automation. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and commissioning of control panels and wiring of cutting-edge high-speed automated packaging machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechatronic systems, with experience in panel building, cable harness, wiring, automation, and industrial equipment. You will be responsible for:

  • Wiring machinery and field control devices
  • Manufacturing cables and harnesses
  • Installing electronic/electrical devices
  • Troubleshooting, isolating faults, proposing solutions and alternate approaches to improve efficiency and quality
  • Electrical installation and commissioning of automated packaging equipment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • College level electrical/mechatronic diploma or electrical technician certification
  • Strong reading and interpreting skills for electrical schematics and diagrams
  • 4+ years' experience in panel building, cable harness, wiring, automation, and industrial equipment
  • Good written, verbal, and technical communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
