Proposal Coordinator

Aecon Utilities is committed to delivering projects that are Faster, Smarter, and Safer. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Proposals Coordinator to join our team and help us achieve our goal of becoming Canada's #1 utility construction provider.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate proposal submissions from bid/no bid decisions through contract execution, working closely with multiple teams including Estimators and Operations.
- Act as single point of contact with clients, break out and assign deliverables, develop proposal outlines, schedule and facilitate kickoff calls and touchpoints, ensure RFP compliance, facilitate reviews, perform final polish and quality control on all documents, manage post-bid clarifications, build proposal presentation PowerPoints, and overall coordination of the proposal.
- Write various proposal sections, as needed, including executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, standard responses, and support writing and developing new plans with the operations and estimating teams.
- Support designing and conceptualizing graphics through PowerPoint to enhance proposal submissions.
- Assist in managing, monitoring, and maintaining the proposal content management database and content libraries through SharePoint and Expedience.
- Support business development initiatives in building strategy content, BD decks, and supporting pipeline management.
- Participate in proposal strategy and review sessions.
- 2-5 years of proposal experience, preferably within the utilities construction industry.
- Ability to manage proposals and internal projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong English language and writing skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit content.
- Strong computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and agile environment with competing priorities and capable of critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with shared goals.
- APMP Foundation or Practitioner Certification is considered an asset.
- Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Business degree, or equivalent work experience.
