Position Overview:

PART-TIME

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to manage various HR functions and initiatives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recruitment, employee engagement, program oversight, and organizational development. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with the broader organizational goals.
  2. Leverage HRIS platforms such as Workday, Kronos, Dayforce, and ADP for streamlined workforce management.
  3. Act as a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the General Manager.
  4. Oversee the administration of recruitment, separations, personnel documentation, legal compliance, compensation, and onboarding processes.
  5. Assist the Joint Health & Safety Committee in its initiatives.
  6. Manage the development and enforcement of personnel policies, pay structures, and employee training programs focused on safety, health, and morale.
  7. Lead recruitment initiatives by sourcing, interviewing, and selecting high-caliber candidates.
  8. Address employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.
  9. Facilitate change management efforts to support the growth of the organization.
  10. Supervise program management related to training, development, and performance assessments.

IATF Specific Duties:

  1. Organizational Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the integrity of the QMS is upheld.
Document Management:
  • Review and approve documentation for relevance and accuracy.

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following:

  • Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Insurance Board disability management.
  • Ability to interpret and enforce legal and safety regulations in accordance with current Provincial & Federal laws.
  • Capability to establish and maintain policies and procedures for the effective management of the organization and the HR department.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Manager or in a comparable position.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in talent acquisition, change management, program oversight, and employee relations.

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who can significantly contribute to the success of our organization.
