Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Welder Helper to join our team at Altec Windows inc. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles with metal products and equipment.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, adhering to quality standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Dependability and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work 30-35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
