Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Claims Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our inventory is accurately accounted for and that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities- Shrink Prevention: Assist in preventing shrinkage by scanning damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
- Return Processing: Maintain up-to-date returns, vendor return requests, recalls, paperwork, packing, and shipping, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Handle SORT and Global Donation Merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing chargebacks.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety practices are followed, including proper disposal of chemicals, maintaining a clean claims area, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Return Monitoring: Monitor merchandise returns, protect assets, and minimize shrinkage by following proper processes and handling procedures.
- Knowledge and Training: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, guidelines, and processes regarding damaged and recalled merchandise, and ensure implementation of new store programs and systems.
- Return Manual Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Return Manual, keeping claims current, minimizing chargebacks, and completing vendor return request forms for claims over 45 days old.
- GM CVP Support: Complete all GM CVP requirements.
- Team Support: Provide support to the Office Support Associate and Direct Store Delivery Associate as required.
