Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor to join our Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program, as well as supporting student advising, recruitment, and placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program
  • Develop and revise curriculum to ensure it is current and relevant
  • Assess student progress and achievement
  • Support student advising, recruitment, and placement
  • Participate in committees and related associations
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a current and valid G2 Gas Technician license, a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic or Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Journeyman Certificate of Qualification, and a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience. Preference will be given to those with HRAI Certifications, Oil Burner Technician Certification, established HVAC industry connections, and familiarity with HVAC Associations and governing bodies.
