About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at CB Canada. As an On-Site Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers' business needs by providing exceptional service and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide top-notch service to multiple customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
    • Meet regularly with key customer contacts to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their business objectives.
    • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure proper inventory levels at customer locations by scanning for orders and maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Oversee customer inventory locations, ensuring proper labeling and quantities on hand are accurate.
  • Business Growth
    • Identify opportunities to generate new orders and increase sales by engaging with customers and providing solutions to meet their business needs.
    • Collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger services and offerings in assigned customer locations.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and provide solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Participate in implementation call reviews to assess viability of Inventory Solutions offerings at customer sites.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Self-motivated, with high energy and dedication to customer service and sales growth.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers and cross-functional partners.
    • Demonstrated ability to apply strong judgment, independent problem-solving skills, and understanding of Grainger's Core Value Proposition.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs. Will be required to lift, push or pull weights ranging from light to heavy on a regular basis.
  • Work Environment
    • Works on-site at customers' facilities. Personal protective equipment is often required.
