Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a Principal SharePoint Developer

As a Principal SharePoint Developer, you will be integral to our internal team that is focused on delivering state-of-the-art digital healthcare solutions. Your contributions will ensure that we provide optimal care to our clients at the right time and place.
Position: Principal SharePoint Developer
Department: IT Services
Employment Type: Full-time permanent
Remote Work: Available across various provinces in Canada
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement SharePoint solutions tailored to the organization’s requirements
- Work collaboratively with various teams to boost productivity and enhance collaboration
- Customize SharePoint sites utilizing .NET and C# technologies
- Develop and maintain documentation for SharePoint projects
- Troubleshoot SharePoint-related challenges and assist end users
- Keep abreast of developments in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technologies
- Adhere to security and governance protocols
- Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Developer
- Proficient in .NET, C#, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and SharePoint Designer
- Understanding of SharePoint REST API, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Power Automate and Power Apps
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- SharePoint certifications are considered an advantage
