Position Overview:

  • Engage with client representatives and contractors to strategize, specify, and design enhancements and additions to process machinery and piping systems.
  • Conduct site inspections to foster and sustain positive relationships with clients.
  • Accountable for ensuring projects are completed on schedule; apply engineering expertise to plan and carry out tasks effectively.
  • Develop timelines and oversee project budgeting and status updates for clients.
  • Provide general assistance to the Mechanical Engineering team at TWD.
  • Formulate, assess, select, and endorse mechanical specifications for diverse equipment.
  • Draft Scope of Work and Contractor Bid documentation packages.
  • Evaluate and authorize piping designs created by Mechanical/Piping designers.
  • Offer engineering assistance in various other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6‐12 years of professional experience post-graduation in industries such as mining, oil and gas, or renewable energy.
  • Proven comprehension of engineering concepts and principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency with software tools such as AutoCAD or CAE applications.
  • Experience across multiple project phases, including design, tendering, construction oversight, and commissioning.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator's License for independent travel to project locations.
