Utilizing a cohesive office project execution strategy, TWD capitalizes on the expertise and capabilities of its various offices to deliver exceptional services to its clientele.
Position Overview:
- Engage with client representatives and contractors to strategize, specify, and design enhancements and additions to process machinery and piping systems.
- Conduct site inspections to foster and sustain positive relationships with clients.
- Accountable for ensuring projects are completed on schedule; apply engineering expertise to plan and carry out tasks effectively.
- Develop timelines and oversee project budgeting and status updates for clients.
- Provide general assistance to the Mechanical Engineering team at TWD.
- Formulate, assess, select, and endorse mechanical specifications for diverse equipment.
- Draft Scope of Work and Contractor Bid documentation packages.
- Evaluate and authorize piping designs created by Mechanical/Piping designers.
- Offer engineering assistance in various other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6‐12 years of professional experience post-graduation in industries such as mining, oil and gas, or renewable energy.
- Proven comprehension of engineering concepts and principles.
- Intermediate proficiency with software tools such as AutoCAD or CAE applications.
- Experience across multiple project phases, including design, tendering, construction oversight, and commissioning.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator's License for independent travel to project locations.
