Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Petro Canada with A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place them in storage areas.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and keep records of food quantities used.
  • Portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Work Environment:

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. You will be part of a team that values client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and teamwork.
