Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor to join our team at Ohm Cycles Canada Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our repair shop, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Shop Activities
    • Oversee the work of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
    • Coordinate and schedule repair and maintenance activities to meet customer needs
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Standards
    • Inspect and approve all work completed in the shop to ensure it meets our quality and safety standards
    • Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Manage Shop Operations
    • Set up and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of parts and materials
  • Lead and Develop Team Members
    • Provide guidance and training to technicians and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
    • Identify and address any performance or training needs to ensure the team is working effectively
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
    • 5 years or more of experience in a related field

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. Free parking is available on site, and we offer on-site recreation and activities, as well as team building opportunities.
