About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Youth Care Specialist to join our team at Resource Ability. As a Pediatric Youth Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric youth clients in their homes and schools, supporting their complex care needs and enabling them to live at home with their families and attend school.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 respite care to pediatric youth clients in their homes and schools
  • Assess and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and care provided
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration with BCCNM
  • Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • BC Care Aide Registry for HCA's
