Job Summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cross ERA Execution Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Enhance Risk Management Methodologies: Develop, enhance, and validate methods of measuring and analyzing risk, including market, credit, and operational risk.
  • Model Development and Validation: Develop models and oversee model development, validation, and deployment efforts to support business decisions and planning.
  • Advancing Risk Management Methodology: Advance Risk Management methodology and integrate models into business decisions and planning to drive profitability.
  • Annual Assessments and Submissions: Manage successful annual quantitative and qualitative assessments and submissions to regulatory bodies.
  • Data Science and Analytics: Work with large datasets and complex algorithms to solve data science challenges and develop innovative deployable solutions.
  • Model Performance Tracking: Ensure timely model performance tracking and assist in process automation to improve process efficiencies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance of development and validation of models with respect to internal and external guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Support the development of training curriculum and standards for junior modelers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with Risk and Decision Management organizations to understand the source of new data and improve the process of defining, extracting, and utilizing new data.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance for junior modelers and interact with senior levels of management to facilitate understanding of usage of risk models and inform critical decisions.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, data science, or a related field.
  • Statistical Modeling and Industry Best Practices: Sound knowledge of statistical modeling concepts and industry best practices, including econometric and statistical modeling or application risk scoring.
  • Quantitative and Analytic Skills: Excellent quantitative and analytic skills, including ability to derive patterns, trends, and insights, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with analytical or data manipulation tools, such as SAS, SQL, R, or C Programming in UNIX, and proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, including ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences.
  • Big Data Experience: Experience working in big data environments and intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of technological advances.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University Degree or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially including a Master's degree.
