Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant II-reg. PT to join our team at Lawton Drugs. As a Pharmacy Assistant II-reg. PT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescription assembly and data entry
  • Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs
  • Compounding and pill pack assembly
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving
  • Schedule professional clinical services, such as medication reviews and health risk assessments
  • BTC management
  • Administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, and manual third parties
  • Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
