Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time High School Math and Science Tutor to join our team. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students to help them develop their math and science skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science to students at different levels
  • Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field is preferred
  • University students with tutoring experience will be considered
  • Good knowledge of current Grades 8 to 12 math, including Pre Calc 11 and 12, Physics, and Chemistry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 8 to 12 (or equivalent) level
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
