Essential Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Licensed Mechanic
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Own set of tools required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in roadside assistance
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software and electronic documentation/time tracking
  • Skills in welding and fabrication
  • Completion of Ozone Depletion Training

Daily Responsibilities

As a vital component of our fleet operations, you will be tasked with the maintenance and servicing of all equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks, and machinery, as well as hydraulic and electrical systems. Each day presents unique challenges, with some service calls requiring off-site or emergency repairs where your diagnostic skills will be essential.

Preventative and predictive maintenance will be crucial to ensure the longevity of our equipment, alongside meticulous daily service documentation to maintain shop organization.

Safety will always be your top priority as you advocate for and implement a safety-first culture among all personnel, subcontractors, and consultants. Your insights will be valued in decision-making processes regarding external repairs and overall shop maintenance. You will play an integral role in ensuring our equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
