About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Home Childcare Provider at Onu Family. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and support to our family.

Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education
    • Plan and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Establish a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the children's physical and emotional well-being.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
    • Assist with homework and educational activities, fostering a love for learning.
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy and organized home.
    • Shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring a well-stocked pantry and fridge.
    • Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens, keeping the family's wardrobe and home tidy.
  • Transportation and Errands
    • Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities, ensuring their safe arrival and departure.
    • Run errands, such as picking up groceries or dropping off dry cleaning, as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
    • Collaborate with other household members, ensuring a smooth and harmonious household environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • CPR Certificate.
    • First Aid Certificate.
