Job Title: Director Asset Management

At Axium Infrastructure, we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Asset Management to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth and progress of our community solar and storage development company, as well as its transition into an independent power producer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the investment team to analyze the development pipeline and markets targeted.
  • Analyze costs estimates for the development of opportunities.
  • Follow the annual budget of the company and provide variances analysis.
  • Work with the VP of construction and Engineering to oversee construction costs, schedules, and progress.
  • Lead repowering opportunities within Axium's existing portfolio of assets.
  • Develop a plan to execute repowering and work with operating partners to maximize long-term value.
  • Oversee renewal, extension, and related waivers and consents of key agreements.
  • Validate execution and quality of construction deliverables.
  • Prepare risk assessments and monitor ESG metrics.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with operating partners, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee and manage operating partners, conduct site visits, and lead monthly review meetings.
  • Analyze benefits and risks of key investments and review documentation.
Professional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business operations environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong business acumen and ability to review, analyze, and comment on financial and business results.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale power markets, renewable energy operations, financial modeling, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of capital structure of renewable projects, including debt and tax equity.
  • Team player with strong IT skills and in-depth knowledge of Office Suite.
