Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Spicy Affairs Bowmanville. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
